Secret Ingredient Pecan Pie
I switched out the corn syrup for maple syrup and everyone always asks why my pie is better than other pecan pies. So here is the recipe.

Ingredients
- 1 favorite pie crust
- 1/4 cup butter melted
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 tsp. flour
- 1 3/4 cups pecan halves
Instructions

Blend the butter and the brown sugar, then add the rest of the ingredients except the pecans, add last. Then pour it all into the prepared pie shell and bake at 450 degrees for 5 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 and bake for 40 minutes or until cooked through. Cool before serving.
